Chris Peterson leads the choral music education program at CSUF, and also conducts the Titan Men’s Chorus and University Singers. He is also an international barbershop superstar and (literally!) wrote the book on choral music education. He conducts the All Camp choir and Tenor-Bass choirs, as well as leading a barbershop/ a cappella elective.
Tammi Alderman is Director of Choral/Vocal Music at Temple City High School and Arrowbear Summer Music Camp, and is part of the Adjunct Faculty supervising student teachers at CSUF. Tammi will conduct the Soprano-Alto choir at this summer’s camp, in addition to teaching theory and devising super-fun breakout activities.
Kerry Jennings is a wonderful soloist, coach, and teacher. He is is Associate Professor of Opera Studies at Cal State Fullerton and will be leading voice classes and chamber electives during camp.
Na-Young Shin is the Visual and Performing Arts Coordinator for Garden Grove Unified School District and a first-call accompanist throughout the county. She is a regular collaborator with Long Beach Camerata and Pacific Chorale.
Dr. Joni Y. Prado, soprano and associate professor of vocal studies at California State University, Fullerton earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in vocal arts at the University of Southern California where her areas of specialty included vocal performance, choral music, music education and jazz studies. She holds a Master of Music degree in vocal performance from California State University, Fullerton and a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and psychology from California Baptist University.
David Bergstedt is a staff collaborative pianist at Cal State Fullerton, where he accompanies the choirs and vocal studios.
