71% of our education program participants come from low-income Orange County neighborhoods.
Students participating in Pacific Chorale Academy outperform their peers in terms of attendance, behavior, and academic performance. 95% of students report that they feel better about themselves, more connected to their school community, and better able to persist at learning new things.
In the last decade, more than 2,000 community members have sung with us onstage for the Choral Festival. Participants come from 40+ cities in Southern California and beyond, with many traveling to Orange County for this bucket list event. Participants have come from as far away as Bremen, Germany and Wailea, Hawaii.
Choral Camp students come from 19 schools in 17 cities in Orange, Riverside, and L.A. Counties. Two-thirds have so much fun that they return for multiple summers. High school choir directors value the impact so much that many dedicate portions of their own budgets to provide scholarships for their students.

Matching Gifts
Did you know that your personal gift to Pacific Chorale may be doubled or even tripled? Many companies participate in matching gift programs and quarterly, bi-annually and/or annually match their employees’ donations to community nonprofits. For purposes of recognition, Pacific Chorale is pleased to credit matching gifts along with an individual’s personal gift.
In-Kind Gifts
Pacific Chorale accepts gifts-in-kind as long as we are able to use the gift in a manner as it relates to our mission or, after a thorough review, we determine that the property is readily marketable. This includes tangible personal property as well as intangible personal property.

Stock Gifts
Did you know that Pacific Chorale accepts gifts of stocks, ETFs, mutual funds, and bonds
Many donors prefer to make gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, mutual funds, or exchange traded funds because it can have a larger impact on our mission, while maximizing potential tax benefits by avoiding paying tax on capital gains.
Qualified Charitable Distributions
Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) are a pain-free and tax-advantageous way for you to give charitably from your IRA. A QCD is a direct transfer of funds from your IRA custodian, payable to a qualified charity. QCDs can be counted toward satisfying your required minimum distributions (RMDs) for the year, as long as certain rules are met.
In addition to the benefits of giving to charity, a QCD excludes the amount donated from taxable income, which is unlike regular withdrawals from an IRA. Keeping your taxable income lower may reduce the impact to certain tax credits and deductions, including Social Security and Medicare.
Also, QCDs don’t require that you itemize, which due to the recent tax law changes, means you may decide to take advantage of the higher standard deduction, but still use a QCD for charitable giving.

Pacific Chorale is committed to providing the highest quality performances and recordings of choral masterworks of the past, creating masterworks of the future, and educating audiences of all ages. Creating such masterworks is expensive, but we believe well worth the investment. However, we cannot accomplish this without your support!
Concert and event sponsorship gifts play a critical role in the success of Pacific Chorale’s music programs by bridging the gap between expenses and ticket revenues. Adopt-A-Rehearsal
How would you like a unique opportunity to “adopt” a rehearsal for our upcoming concert season? A small donation of $250 allows you to act as a sponsor for the rehearsal of your choice. You are welcome to attend the rehearsal and have a “behind the scenes” experience of putting together our magical Pacific Chorale performances. Snacks and treats will be provided for the enjoyment of our singers and your name will be listed as a rehearsal sponsor on our website.
